I Am Yahweh. That Is My Name.

I Am Yahweh Scroll.
Thus saith Yahweh, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the
womb, I am Yahweh that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the
heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by Myself; (Isaiah 44:24)

I Am Yahweh. That Is My Name.
Many people believe the CREATOR's name is 'god' or 'lord' or 'christ' or 'jesus', but are any of
these names really 'The Name' of the ETERNAL SOVEREIGN and CREATOR of the universe?

(Psalm 148:13)[1] (KJV) Let them praise the name of the 'Lord' [the CREATOR]: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

To hallow a thing is to make it holy or to set it apart to be exalted as being worthy of absolute devotion. To hallow The Name of the CREATOR is to regard Him with complete devotion and loving admiration. The CREATOR's Name is of the utmost importance (Nehemiah 9:5); therefore we ought to revere it as we should in our minds and hearts, and give it the significance that the CREATOR requires of it. We should never take His Name lightly (Exodus 20:7; Leviticus 22:32), but always rejoice in it and think deeply upon its true meaning.

But incredibly, as you read those scriptures, and others like them, NOWHERE is His Name to be found. Moreover, this has not gone unnoticed by the ETERNAL CREATOR and SOVEREIGN of the universe:

(Hosea 4:6) (TLB) My people are destroyed because they don't know Me, and it is all your fault, you priests, for you yourselves refuse to know Me; therefore, I refuse to recognize you as My priests. Since you have forgotten My laws, I will 'forget' to bless your children. - (ALL Versions)

(Malachi 2:1-3) (LEB) 1And so then, O priests, this command is for you: 2If you will not listen, and if you will not take it to heart to give glory to My Name, says Yahweh of hosts, then I will send the curse on you, and I will curse your blessings; moreover I have already cursed them because you are not taking it to heart. 3Look! I am going to rebuke your offspring, and I will scatter offal on your faces, the offal of your religious feasts, and you will be carried to it.

I Am Yahweh: That Is My Name!

No matter how many ways the CREATOR says it, or how many times we read it, it just does not seem to sink in. This is the clearest statement of fact, made by the CREATOR, regarding His Mighty Name:

(Isaiah 42:8) (MULTI) I am Yahweh; that is my name. I will not give My glory to anyone else or the praise I deserve to idols.

Yahweh is The Name of the Eternal One, the Almighty CREATOR of all that exists. His Name, of which He says; "This is My Name forever", carries the meaning of "He is", or "He causes to be". Furthermore, Yahweh's People Respond To His Name. But because of man's infidelity to the CREATOR, and their stubborn refusal to let go of tradition, the precious Name of the ETERNAL SOVEREIGN and CREATOR of the universe, has been intentionally and willfully removed from His Holy Scriptures. Moreover, Yahweh placed His Name in the scriptures nearly 7,000 times. And 7,000 times bible translators intentionally and willfully substituted it with a generic title such as "Adonai", "EL", "Elohim", "God", "LORD", and even "Jehovah", in a blatant attempt of deception by the First Council of Nicea, to justify the name of their false pagan 'son of god' they call "Jesus". In fact, "Yahweh" is the 7th most commonly used word in the Hebrew scriptures. When asked by Moses, what His Name was, the Almighty CREATOR replied in (Exodus 3:15):

(Genesis 4:26) (LEB) And as for Seth, he also fathered a son, and he called his name Enosh. At that time he began to call on the name of Yahweh.

(Exodus 3:14-16) (ERV) 14Then 'God' said to Moses, Tell them, I Am Who I Am. When you go to the Israelites, tell them, I Am sent me to you. 15And 'God' said, Tell the Israelites that you were sent by Yahweh, the 'God' of your ancestors, the 'God' of Abraham, the 'God' of Isaac, the 'God' of Jacob. This will always be My name. It is how I want the people to remember Me from now on. 16Now go and call together the elders of the people. Tell them that Yahweh, the 'God' of your ancestors, the 'God' of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, appeared to you. Give them this message from Me: I have been watching over you and have seen what people in Egypt have done to you.

(Exodus 3:14-16) (HCSB) 14'God' replied to Moses, I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you. 15'God' also said to Moses, Say this to the Israelites: Yahweh, the 'God' of your fathers, the 'God' of Abraham, the 'God' of Isaac, and the 'God' of Jacob, has sent Me to you. This is My name forever; this is how I am to be remembered in every generation. 16Go and assemble the elders of Israel and say to them: Yahweh, the 'God' of your fathers, the 'God' of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, has appeared to me and said: I have paid close attention to you and to what has been done to you in Egypt.

(Exodus 3:14-16) (LEB) 14And 'God' said to Moses, I am that I am. And he said, So you must say to the Israelites, I am sent me to you. 15And 'God' said again to Moses, So you must say to the Israelites, Yahweh, the 'God' of your ancestors, the 'God' of Abraham, the 'God' of Isaac, and the 'God' of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My remembrance from generation to generation. 16Go and gather the elders of Israel and say to them, Yahweh, the 'God' of your ancestors, appeared to me, the 'God' of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, I have carefully attended to you and what has been done to you in Egypt.

(Exodus 3:14-16) (NLT) 14'God' replied to Moses, I am who I am. Say this to the people of Israel: I am has sent me to you. 15'God' also said to Moses, Say this to the people of Israel: Yahweh, the 'God' of your ancestors, the 'God' of Abraham, the 'God' of Isaac, and the 'God' of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My eternal name, My name to remember for all generations. 16Now go and call together all the elders of Israel. Tell them, Yahweh, the 'God' of your ancestors, the 'God' of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, has appeared to me. He told me, I have been watching closely, and I see how the Egyptians are treating you.

(Exodus 3:14-16) (WEB) 14'God' said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM, and he said, You shall tell the children of Israel this: I AM has sent me to you. 15'God' said moreover to Moses, You shall tell the children of Israel this, Yahweh, the 'God' of your fathers, the 'God' of Abraham, the 'God' of Isaac, and the 'God' of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations. 16Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and tell them, Yahweh, the 'God' of your fathers, the 'God' of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, has appeared to me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt;

To further emphasise the importance of knowing and using His Name, Yahweh made this knowledge the first three most important requirments of the ten commandments:

(Exodus 20:1-7) (LEB):

1st COMMANDMENT: 1And Yahweh spoke all these words, saying, 2I am Yahweh your CREATOR, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3You shall have no other SOVEREIGN's before me.

2nd COMMANDMENT: 4You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your CREATOR, am a jealous SOVEREIGN, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me, 6and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep My commandments.

3rd COMMANDMENT: 7You shall not take the name of Yahweh your CREATOR in vain, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes His Name in vain.

(Deuteronomy 5:6-11) (LEB):

1st COMMANDMENT: 6I am Yahweh your CREATOR, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 7You shall have no other SOVEREIGN's before me.

2nd COMMANDMENT: 8You shall not make an engraved image for yourself, any likeness of what is in heaven above, or what is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 9You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them; for I, Yahweh, your CREATOR, am a jealous SOVEREIGN, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me; 10and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep My commandments.

3rd COMMANDMENT: 11You shall not take the name of Yahweh your CREATOR in vain: for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes His Name in vain.

Many take the third commandment to mean that we should not use the CREATOR's name alongside a swear word or profanity. You could see how it certainly might mean this. Others say that taking His Name on our lips while living a life of sin is another way of taking His Name in vain. However, this is just another device to get you to break the third commandment, because all mankind sins ever since the fall of Adam and Eve, yet the CREATOR has said to use His Name, even from that time forward.

Looking even deeper, we can see that the third commandment means much more than this. Replacing the CREATOR's name with a title of our own choosing such as ["Adonai", "EL", "Elohim", "God", "LORD", or "Ha Shem" etc.], is another way of taking His Name in vain. At this point you might be asking yourself, how that is even possible since all your life you've called Him 'god' or 'the lord'.

Let's look at the third commandment as written in the King James Bible:

(Exodus 20:7) (KJV) Thou shalt not take the name of the 'Lord' thy 'God' in vain; for the 'Lord' will not hold him guiltless that taketh His Name in vain.

(Deuteronomy 5:11) (KJV) Thou shalt not take the name of the 'Lord' thy 'God' in vain: for the 'Lord' will not hold him guiltless that taketh His Name in vain.

If we examine this verse in the Hebrew text that the King James Bible was translated from, we would not find "The LORD" or any word that carries such a meaning. What is actually there is the CREATOR's true name, "Yahweh". Now that you know this, isn't it important to consider whether or not this tradition of calling the Almighty CREATOR "The LORD", is something the CREATOR would desire us to follow. After all, to Him, 'Lord' would be a serious demotion, and slap in the face!

Webster's Dictionary

Vain:
1. Having no real substance, value, or importance; empty; void; worthless; unsatisfying.

2. Destitute of force or efficacy; effecting no purpose; fruitless; ineffectual; as, vain toil; a vain attempt.

Let's take a moment and look at the Webster's dictionary definition of the word "vain":

Considering the meaning of the word 'vain', what greater way to bring Yahweh's name to emptiness, worthlessness, and having no real substance, value or purpose than to remove His Name altogether from scripture and substitute it with mere titles of our own choosing?

Those who have chosen to practice this are doing just that. This practice is so widespread and so complete that few people even know the CREATOR has a personal name. Yahweh chose to place His Name in scripture nearly 7,000 times. And each one of those 7,000 times it is replaced with a title (such as "The LORD") in 99% of all translations. In fact, in most translations the third commandment (as written) is a transgression of itself! Why? Because the third commandment forbids bringing His Name to nothing, yet most translations do just that.

To further demonstrate this point, let's look at the Hebrew word that is translated into the English word "vain", in the third commandment. The English word 'vain' in (Exodus 20:7, and Deuteronomy 5:11) is (Strongs #H7723) [shav] meaning: emptiness, nothingness, worthlessness.

The number after the English word 'vain' in this passage refers to (Strongs #H7723) [shav], in the Hebrew Lexicon. This same Hebrew word (#H7723 [Shav]) can also be found in another commandment just a few verses later. However, in this instance it is translated differently:

(Exodus 20:16) (KJV) Thou shalt not bear 'false' [#H7723] witness against thy neighbour.

(Deuteronomy 5:20) (KJV) Neither shalt thou bear 'false' [#H7723] witness against thy neighbour.

Here we have the same Hebrew word (Strongs #H7723) [shav] being translated as 'false'. Might this shed light on the third commandment as well? We know that to say that the name of the CREATOR is 'The LORD' is actually a 'false' statement. Most translations are full of false statements. For instance, the King James Version reads:

(Isaiah 42:8) (KJV) I am the 'Lord': that is My Name: and My glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven images.

The above is not a true statement. His Name is not "the LORD". His Name is Yahweh. "The LORD" is not a translation of the original, it is a substitution of the original. The translators did not translate, they purposely substituted the true name of the CREATOR for something else so that they could follow their tradition. It should instead read:

(Isaiah 42:8) (NOG) I am Yahweh; that is My Name. I will not give My glory to anyone else or the praise I deserve to idols.

So if we want to keep the ten commandments, we should never replace Yahweh's name with a false name or title of our own choosing. Doing so would be breaking the third commandment. This is not the only way to break the third commandment, but we can see that it is certainly one way of doing so. We are not supposed to add to, or take away from, scripture. But in doing this, man has chosen to both add and take away.

Yet incredibly, despite strong admonishment not to do so, scribes, translators, and other agenda driven individuals, have completely ignored the following warning, and edited out the Almighty CREATOR's Holy Name, and replaced it with mere titles of men, thus usurping the CREATOR's authority and elevating themselves, to claim all authority over men as His spokesman, thereby totally taking His Name in vain by breaking the first three commandments:

(Deuteronomy 4:2) (WEB) You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yahweh your 'god' which I command you.

Yahweh considered it important enough to include something about His Name in the Ten Commandments. He considered it important enough to include a warning that we would not be held "guiltless" if we choose to break it. Therefore, in spite of what others may think, let's keep His commandments by restoring what Yahweh placed there originally. Let's set aside vain tradition and walk in the original truth of Yahweh; just as He inspired it.

How important is it to know the CREATOR's name? The following is a small sampling of just over 120 Scriptures, where the CREATOR tells us in HIS own words, from HIS own lips, that His Name is Yahweh. In addition, I have included five different english language translations so you can actually see with your own eyes how the churches, priests, ministers, rabbis, and others deceive you every time they open their mouths, concerning the Name of the CREATOR. Remember, words [titles] such as ["Adonai", "EL", "Elohim", "God", "LORD", or "Ha Shem" etc.], are deceptions used to hide the True Name of the CREATOR:

Hallelujah or Halleluyah
Praise Jah, or Praise Yah?

Not only is there a clear-cut agenda to rub out the CREATOR's name, there is also an agenda to falsify that name, into something that justifies and legitimizes the false pagan 'son of god' called 'Jesus'. That false name is 'Jehovah', derived from the Babylonian, Egyptian, and Roman pagan 'gods', 'Jovis and Jupiter'. It can easily be demonstrated that the names 'Jehovah' and 'Jesus' are false names who's only purpose is to deceive people into worshiping a false 'god' other than the true CREATOR, which causes those who do so, to knowingly or unknowingly violate the first three commandments.

Language is a funny thing. Words, especially the pronunciation of certain words causes all kinds of havoc for the falsifiers. Take for example the word "HalleluYAH" as it's been spelled and pronounced for several thousand years until recently. If you search for that word on Google, it will correct you and tell you that its spelled "Hallelujah". Interesting that they would now spell it that way. If you look this word up in bibles earlier than the year 1600 AD or so, you can see that something is fishy with this spelling. If your intention is to deceive people into worshiping a false 'god' named 'Jehovah' and you spell "HalleluYAH" as "HalleluJah", then guess what? Both words have the letter 'J' in them, so 'god' ['Jehovah'], and his self-proclaimed son ['Jesus'] must be the correct names, right?

So lets look into this delema a little deeper. We can see the meaning of "HalleluYAH" is actually two words combined: 'praise' and 'yah', (Psalm 106:1). See: International Standard Bible Encyclopaedia. How wonderful it is, that the all-knowing CREATOR saw fit to imbed His name in this word, so we could know with certainty, that His name is 'YAH'weh. To hear the proper pronunciation of this wonderful word, no matter how they spell it, listen to the song: Michael (1961), by The Highwaymen. It is quite clear that the CREATOR of heaven and earth and all that exists, wants us to know, use, and keep His wonderful Name on the top of our minds. I think you owe Him nothing less!

In fact King David spent his entire life praising Yahweh! However the scribes, translators, and other agenda driven individuals such as Roman Emperor Constintine, and the bishops of the church of Rome at the Council of Nicaea, have bent over backwards ensuring that you never know the true name of the CREATOR. To see just how deep the lies and deceptions go, compare the following passages from several different bibles:

(Psalm 104:35) (MULTI) May sinners vanish from the earth and the wicked be no more! Bless ADONAI, my soul! Halleluyah!

(Psalm 105:45) (MULTI) in order to obey his laws and follow his teachings. Halleluyah!

(Psalm 117:2) (MULTI) For his grace has overcome us, and ADONAI's truth continues forever. Halleluyah!

(Psalm 135:1) (MULTI) Halleluyah! Give praise to the name of ADONAI! Servants of ADONAI, give praise!

(Psalm 135:21) (MULTI) Blessed be ADONAI out of Tziyon, he who dwells in Yerushalayim! Halleluyah!

(Psalm 146:1) (MULTI) Halleluyah! Praise ADONAI, my soul!

(Psalm 146:10) (MULTI) ADONAI will reign forever, your God, Tziyon, through all generations. Halleluyah!

(Psalm 147:1) (MULTI) Halleluyah! How good it is to sing praises to our 'god'! How sweet, how fitting to praise him!

(Psalm 147:20) (MULTI) He has not done this for other nations; they do not know his rulings. Halleluyah!

(Psalm 148:1) (MULTI) Halleluyah! Praise ADONAI from the heavens! Praise him in the heights!

(Psalm 150:6) (MULTI) Let everything that has breath praise ADONAI! Halleluyah!

Make no mistake about this vitally important knowledge. Satan, that great liar, deceiver, and adversary of mankind, wants it that way because he knows that if you do begin to call upon the name of Yahweh, and endeavor to keep His commandments, then Yahweh WILL forgive you, and heal you, and bless you, as He promised and said He would:

(Deuteronomy 28:1-14) (LEB) 1And it will happen that if you indeed listen to the voice of Yahweh your CREATOR, to diligently observe all His commandments that I am commanding you today, then Yahweh your CREATOR will set you above all the nations of the earth. 2And all of these blessings shall come upon you, and they shall have an effect on you if you listen to the voice of Yahweh your CREATOR: 3You will be blessed in the city, and you will be blessed in the field. 4Blessed will be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your livestock, the calf of your cattle and the lambs of your flock. 5Blessed will be your basket and your kneading trough. 6Blessed will you be when you come in and blessed will you be when you go out. 7Yahweh will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; on one road they shall come out against you, but on seven roads they shall flee before you.

8Yahweh will command concerning you the blessing to be in your barns and in all your endeavors; and He will bless you in the land that Yahweh your CREATOR is giving to you. 9Yahweh will establish you for Himself as a holy people as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of Yahweh your CREATOR and you walk in His ways. 10And all of the peoples of the earth shall see that by the name of Yahweh you are called, and they shall fear you. 11And Yahweh will make you successful and prosperous, in the fruit of your womb and on the land that Yahweh swore to your ancestors to give to you. 12Yahweh shall open for you His rich storehouse, even the heavens, to give the rain for your land in its time and to bless all of the work of your hand, and you will lend to many nations; you will not borrow from them. 13And Yahweh shall make you as head and not the tail, and you shall be only at the top of the nations, and you shall not be at the bottom, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your CREATOR that I am commanding you today and diligently observe them. 14And you shall not turn aside from any of the words that I am commanding you today to the right or left by going after other 'gods' to serve them.

These promises continue throughout the Hebrew Scriptures, and unlike satan the deceiver, Yahweh keeps His promises. Read and consider the following scriptures, and take them to heart. You could not do better than to heed these scriptures:

(2 Chronicles 7:14) (MULTI) Then if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and will pray and will seek My face and will turn from their evil ways, then I Myself shall hear from the heavens and will forgive their sins and heal their land.

(2 Chronicles 30:9) (MULTI) For when you return to Yahweh, your brothers and your children will find compassion before their captors and return to this land, for Yahweh your 'god' is gracious and compassionate, and He will not turn away His face from you if you return to Him.

(Nehemiah 1:9) (MULTI) But if you return to Me and keep My commandments and do them, even though all of your outcasts are at the furthest parts of heaven, I will gather them and bring them to the place which I have chosen to make My name dwell.

(Jeremiah 24:7) (MULTI) I will give them the desire to know that I am Yahweh. They will be My people, and I will be their 'elohim', because they will wholeheartedly come back to Me.

(Lamentations 3:40) (MULTI) Let us look closely at our ways and examine them and then return to Yahweh.

(Hosea 6:1) (MULTI) Come, let us return to Yahweh; because it is he who has torn, and he will heal us; he has struck us down and will bind us up.

(Hosea 14:1) (MULTI) Return to Yahweh your 'god', O Israel, for you have stumbled because of your sin.

(Joel 2:12) (MULTI) But even now, declares Yahweh, return to Me with all your heart; with fasting, crying, and mourning.

(Zechariah 1:3) (MULTI) You must say to them: Thus says Yahweh of hosts: Return to Me, declares Yahweh of hosts, and I will return to you, says Yahweh of hosts.

In the end, as you learn to trust in the name of Yahweh, there are a few things to remember. Until you have prayed about and researched the information presented here today, it is safe to refer to Yahweh as the Almighty, the CREATOR, the ETERNAL, or the ETERNAL CREATOR and SOVEREIGN of the universe. But never refer to Him as "Adonai", "EL", "Elohim", "God", "LORD", "Jehovah", or "Jesus" because He warns us that there are many [false] 'gods', which all of those are, but there is only one true ETERNAL CREATOR and SOVEREIGN of the universe, and His name is Yahweh. Furthermore, Yahweh's People Respond To His Name, and His truth. HalleluYAH!
