When will that be? What events will surround it? Can you
know? Daniel tells us it will be based on times and laws.
The Time Of Jacob's Trouble; How Does It Begin?
The book of Daniel is prophecy, and nearly all of it was fulfilled at the time of the Maccabees, before the fall of the second Temple. Some say the book of Daniel is nothing that people in these modern times should worry about. Yet, some of those prophecies are for the present time, in these latter days, and are in the process of being fulfilled right now.
Nebuchadnezzar's Dream.
In the second year of his reign, Nebuchadnezzar, the King of Babylon, had dreams which troubled him so much that he could not sleep. The King sent for the wise men [magicians, enchanters, sorcerers and astrologers] to tell him what his dream was, and what it meant. The counselors had no idea what the king had dreamed. This made the king so angry and furious that he ordered the execution of all the wise men of Babylon, which included Daniel and his friends:
(Daniel 2:1-13) (NIV) 1In the second year of his reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; his mind was troubled and he could not sleep. 2So the king summoned the magicians, enchanters, sorcerers and astrologers to tell him what he had dreamed. When they came in and stood before the king, 3he said to them, "I have had a dream that troubles me and I want to know what it means". 4Then the astrologers answered the king, "May the king live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will interpret it". 5The king replied to the astrologers, "This is what I have firmly decided: If you do not tell me what my dream was and interpret it, I will have you cut into pieces and your houses turned into piles of rubble. 6But if you tell me the dream and explain it, you will receive from me gifts and rewards and great honor. So tell me the dream and interpret it for me". 7Once more they replied, "Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will interpret it". 8Then the king answered, "I am certain that you are trying to gain time, because you realize that this is what I have firmly decided: 9If you do not tell me the dream, there is only one penalty for you. You have conspired to tell me misleading and wicked things, hoping the situation will change. So then, tell me the dream, and I will know that you can interpret it for me". 10The astrologers answered the king, "There is no one on earth who can do what the king asks! No king, however great and mighty, has ever asked such a thing of any magician or enchanter or astrologer. 11What the king asks is too difficult. No one can reveal it to the king except the 'gods', and they do not live among humans". 12This made the king so angry and furious that he ordered the execution of all the wise men of Babylon. 13So the decree was issued to put the wise men to death, and men were sent to look for Daniel and his friends to put them to death.
However, Daniel said he would tell the King the dream and its meaning, because the ETERNAL had given Daniel the answer to the king's question. Daniel first thanked the ETERNAL for making the dream and its meaning known, and then he explained it to the King. (Verses 14-23):
(Daniel 2:14-23) (NIV) 14When Arioch, the commander of the king's guard, had gone out to put to death the wise men of Babylon, Daniel spoke to him with wisdom and tact. 15He asked the king's officer, "Why did the king issue such a harsh decree?" Arioch then explained the matter to Daniel. 16At this, Daniel went in to the king and asked for time, so that he might interpret the dream for him. 17Then Daniel returned to his house and explained the matter to his friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. 18He urged them to plead for mercy from the SOVEREIGN of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. 19During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the SOVEREIGN of heaven 20and said: "Praise be to the name of the ETERNAL for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. 21He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. 22He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. 23I thank and praise you, CREATOR of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king".
Daniel Tells King Nebuchadnezzar His Dream.
(Daniel 2:27-28) (NIV) 27Daniel replied, "No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, 28but there is a SOVEREIGN in heaven who reveals mysteries. He has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in days to come. Your dream and the visions that passed through your mind as you were lying in bed are these:
(Daniel 2:31-35) (NIV) 31Your Majesty looked, and there before you stood a large statue, an enormous, dazzling statue, awesome in appearance. 32The head of the statue was made of pure gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, 33its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of baked clay. 34While you were watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them. 35Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were all broken to pieces and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth.
The Interpretation Of King Nebuchadnezzar's Dream.
The King's dream encompasses the time span between Nebuchadnezzar's ancient Babylonian empire, and the soon to come time of Jacob's Trouble, that ends when the ETERNAL returns to earth.
(Daniel 2:36-43) (NIV) 36This was the dream, and now we will interpret it to the king. 37Your Majesty, you are the king of kings. The SOVEREIGN of heaven has given you dominion and power and might and glory; 38in your hands he has placed all mankind and the beasts of the field and the birds in the sky. Wherever they live, he has made you ruler over them all. You are that head of gold. 39After you, another kingdom [chest and arms] will arise, inferior to yours. Next, a third kingdom [belly and thighs], one of bronze, will rule over the whole earth. 40Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom [legs], strong as iron, for iron breaks and smashes everything, and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others. 41Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly of baked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the strength of iron in it, even as you saw iron mixed with clay. 42As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom [feet and toes] will be partly strong and partly brittle. 43And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay.
To summarize the various kingdoms in the dream: The head was gold; Babylon. The chest and arms of silver; Medo-Persian empire. The belly and thighs of bronze; Hellenistic Greek. The legs of iron; Rome. The feet and toes as a mixture of iron and clay; Britain & America [The ancient Hebrews*].
*Any people who claim their linage passes through Abraham to Jacob are Hebrews.
A mixture of people are many different nationalities as in America, Britain and her former Commonwealth. Do you grasp the significance of Daniel's prophesy? He is telling us a root cause of the fall of the Hebrew empire of England, America, and several other of today's Israelite nations [there 10 in all].
He is telling us that diversity brings weakness not strength, whereas unity brings strength. There is a saying: 'Together we stand; Divided we fall'. Just look around as this very mixture of iron and clay is being mandated on all the major nations of earth today, through the deliberate 'forced migration', and illegal immigration policies of today's rulers.
Why is the ETERNAL letting this happen to His people? Because America, the British Commonwealth of nations, and several other of today's Israelite nations [the lost 10 tribes of Israel], do not worship Yahweh, the only living CREATOR and SOVEREIGN of the universe. Since the death of King Solomon, the Hebrew lineage has worshiped a false religion of two [twinity], or three [trinity], false 'gods', and not the ETERNAL Supreme Being of creation. Worse yet, we continue to make 'graven images' and 'idols' of these false 'gods' and bow down to them in our 'high places' as if they were alive. Even the Jews, do not follow the Hebrew Scriptures [Old Testament or Tanakh]; they have their own book of traditions 'The Talmud', that they follow.
Sadly, today, we modern-day Hebrews can halt this progression of downfall, by turning once again to worship the ETERNAL CREATOR, and Almighty SOVEREIGN of the universe, as He alone is our only Savior. Here are a few Scriptures to prove that: (Deuteronomy 4:35; Deuteronomy 6:4-6; 2 Samuel 7:22; Psalms 106:21; Isaiah 41:13-14; Jeremiah 14:7-8; Hosea 13:4; Zechariah 14:3-4).
(2 Chronicles 7:13-14) (NIV) 13When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, 14if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
(Nehemiah 1:8-11) (NIV) 8Remember the instruction you gave your servant Moses, saying, If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations, 9but if you return to Me and obey My commands, then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for My Name. 10They are your servants and your people, whom you redeemed by your great strength and your mighty hand. 11Almighty CREATOR, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your Name...
The Final Outcome Of King Nebuchadnezzar's Dream.
(Daniel 2:44-45) (NIV) 44In the time of those kings, the SOVEREIGN of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. 45This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain, but not by human hands, a rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces. The great SOVEREIGN has shown the king what will take place in the future. The dream is true and its interpretation is trustworthy.
Daniel tells us, this will all take place at the end of man's rule on earth. When will that be? What events will surround it? Can you know? The answer to all those questions is 'YES', you can know for sure. Daniel tells us this will all be based on the corruption of the ETERNAL's times and laws:
(Daniel 7:23-25) (KJV) 23Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. 24And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 25And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
And for how long will The Almighty SOVEREIGN of the Universe allow this transgression to continue? He tells Daniel it would be: 'until a time and times and the dividing of time'. Just how long will that be? Well, it won't happen until the ETERNAL returns to the Mount Of Olives, and sets up His eternal Kingdom through King David and Elijah, sometime in the rapidly approaching future when, that future time will be divided from this present time.
(Amos 4:11-12) (NIV) 11I overthrew some of you as I overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. You were like a burning stick snatched from the fire, yet you have not returned to me, declares the ETERNAL. 12Therefore this is what I will do to you, Israel, and because I will do this to you, Israel, prepare to meet your CREATOR.
And when that time arrives, all the tribes of Israel will not come willingly. First they will have to meet their CREATOR, face to face. What an awesome thing to have to go through. Yet, the Almighty CREATOR says He will forgive you, 'if you return to Him and obey His commands', He promises that even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, 'I will gather you from there and bring you to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for My Name':

The Arrival And Formation Of The Kingdom Of Yahweh.
Only with the Advent of the Mashiach [King David], will the Hebrew tribes of Israel, be brought out of their captivity from among the nations of the Earth:
(Isaiah 11:1-3) (NIV) 1A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit*. 2The Spirit of the ETERNAL will rest on him, the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the ETERNAL, 3and he will delight in the fear of the ETERNAL.
(Isaiah 11:10-11) (NIV) 10In that day the Root of Jesse [King David] will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to him, and his resting place will be glorious. 11In that day the ETERNAL will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant of his people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt, from Cush, from Elam, from Babylonia, from Hamath and from the islands of the Mediterranean.
*The 'shoot' from the 'stump of Jesse' was King David in his previous human form, and from his [earthly] 'roots' a 'Branch' [King David] will bear 'fruit' [his spiritual eternal body]. This is in NO WAY, speaking about a 'man from Galilee', a self-proclaimed 'son of god' and supposed 'saviour' of mankind, that you have been indoctrinated taught about, for your whole lives. There is no such being. In fact, the ETERNAL CREATOR and SOVEREIGN of the universe has named the Mashiach many times, and by name:
(Ezekiel 37:23-24) (NKJV) 23They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their SOVEREIGN. 24David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them.
(Ezekiel 37:24) (TLB) And David, my Servant, the Messiah, shall be their King, their only Shepherd; and they shall obey my laws and all my wishes.
(Jeremiah 23:5-6) (GW) 5The days are coming, declares the ETERNAL, when I will grow a righteous branch [spiritual body] for David. He will be a king who will rule wisely. He will do what is fair and right in the land. 6In his lifetime, Judah will be saved, and Israel will live in safety. This is the name that he will be given: The ETERNAL is our righteousness.
(Jeremiah 30:9) (NKJV) But they shall serve the ETERNAL their SOVEREIGN, And David their king, Whom I will raise up for them.
Then the Davidic Kingdom is set up, under the rule of the ETERNAL CREATOR and SOVEREIGN of the universe, and there is finally worldwide peace in the Wonderful World Tomorrow. May Yahweh, the ETERNAL SOVEREIGN and CREATOR of the universe, grant to you knowledge, peace and understanding.
